The Grenada Lifestyle Centre was set up in June 2008 with the backing of the Adventist Health Professional Association (AHPA). This is a sub-division of the Health Ministries department of the Grenada Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
On the recommendation of Mrs Theresa Thornhill, a team of medical missionaries from Wildwood Lifestyle Centre, USA were invited to Grenada to inspire healthier lifestyles. This visit inspired local support for the creation of the centre.
